Description
The North East Cambridge masterplan, prepared from 2018 by the Greater Cambridge planning authorities, frames a dense mixed-use quarter around Cambridge North station on the city's edge. Its key moves are the relocation of a water treatment works to release a large brownfield core site, station-led intensification of existing science and business parks, and a walkable district combining homes, workspace and social infrastructure. It is one of the principal growth locations in the Greater Cambridge plan.
